Sparks make managerial appointments

Cope and McKillop awarded permanent managerial roles by South Park Reigate

Since the departure of Harrison Williams to Bedfont Sports last month, South Park Reigate have entrusted the caretaker Manager/Assistant roles to Tom Cope and Seanan McKillop- and now the due are caretakers no more, having been awarded the top jobs on a permanent basis.

Their period in interim charge has seen the Sparks defeat both leaders Northwood and (then) second place side Marlow by two goals to nil, results which have lifted the Whitehall Lane side up into fifth place in Pitching In Isthmian South Central, with a match against bottom side Merstham to come on Boxing Day.

A statement released on social media yesterday explains:

'Both have the full backing and support of the board and are confident they can build on these excellent results and performances. The club thanks all who expressed interest in the posts and wish them all the very best for the future.'

Cope was Assistant to Harrison Williams at both Redhill and the Sparks. McKillop arrived at the club in a playing capacity in the summer, and has made eighteen appearances this season.
