Sponsors extend stay at leaders

Folkestone Invicta's main shirt sponsors have extended their partnership with the Ryman South leaders until at least the end of next season.

Invicta's delighted officials announced on Monday that All Type Pumps had agreed to extend the front of shirt sponsorship they signed only last summer.

Based in Forest Hill, south east London, Alltype Pumps previously sponsored Margate and before the season kicked off handed over an additional £300 so Invicta could offer a £10 discount to the first 30 fans who brought the club's newly branded home and away replica kits.

Paul Morgan, managing director of the South London-based company was introduced to the club by Invicta's director of sales and marketing director Cliff Egan and became an associate director a few months later as part of the deal.

A popular and regular visitor to Invicta’s games – both home and away – Morgan stepped up to become a full board member at the Fullicks Stadium earlier this season.

Morgan, pictured right alongside club chairman Jim Pellatt, said: “I have happily agreed to carry on the shirt sponsorship for next season. Folkestone Invicta is a fantastic club which is moving in the right direction. I would like publicly to say a very big thank you to all the staff and supporters who have made me and my family very welcome at the Fullicks Stadium.

“As some of you know I am a season ticketholder at Millwall but have been to more Folkestone games home and away this season and, like everyone else at the club, hope very much that we can secure the league title and promotion to the Ryman Premier Division.”

Egan said: “It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Paul - firstly as our shirt sponsor and secondly as a member of the Board.

"Paul really has the club and its supporters at heart as was demonstrated by his kind gesture of paying towards the cost of the first 30 replica shirts purchased by supporters and then buying a drink for everyone that turned up in Stripes wearing their All Type Pumps Ltd replica shirt before one of our home games just before Christmas."

He added: “On behalf of myself and the rest of the board, I would like to thank Paul for agreeing an extension to the shirt sponsorship deal through his company All Type Pumps Ltd for the 2016-17 season.”
