Sports bring in a Shrimper

By Ian Townsend

And what a start he had, with two goals and two assists!

Hullbridge Sports have been in superb recent form in the Pitching In Isthmian North Division, and last Saturday produced their biggest win yet, demolishing Romford five-one. The biggest architect of that demolition was Southend United winger Demaray Anyadike, who has joined the club on loan and scored two goals whilst assisting two more.

Demaray has already been on loan this season, at Pitching In Southern League side Harlow Town, and he made seventeen appearances for the Hawks before returning to Roots Hall last month. He is expected to remain with Sports until the season ends, and if he can keep up last weekend's form will perhaps see them safe almost single-handed!

He is highly-rated by the side from the seaside, and earlier this month scored a perfect hat trick- with his head, his right foot and his left foot- for them in an EFL Youth Alliance South East Conference victory over Northampton Town.
