Stone for the Rams

Craig Stone moves to Ramsgate

Prior to Saturday's historic FA Cup First Round win over Woking, Ramsgate announced the signing of Craig Stone from Hastings United.

Craig joined United from Tonbridge Angels in the summer of 2019, and has gone on to become something of a legend at Pilot Field. He arrived at the club fresh from celebrating promotion as part of the Tonbridge Angels side who won not one but two Playoff Finals, defeating first Merstham and then Metropolitan Police to earn elevation to National League South, and previously turned out for Gillingham, Ebbsfleet United, Dover Athletic and Eastbourne Borough. His promotion with United at the end of the 21-22 season was the fifth of his career.

He became Player/Assistant Manager at Pilot Field in the summer, and has also previously spent time coaching the Under 18 and Under 23 sides at Gillingham.
