Stow defender new in Town

Joe Carroll signs on at Bury Town

Bury Town had a new face on the bench as they drew with Bowers and Pitsea at the weekend, defender Joseph Carroll making the move from Stowmarket Town.

Joe has already made sixteen appearances for Stow this season, although he won't enjoy being reminded of his previous experience of the Blues, as he featured as his new club defeated his former club five-nil at the end of September.

Prior to his time at Stow, Joe was with AFC Sudbury, where he came through the Academy setup. He made two appearances for the Yellows first team as they won Pitching In Isthmian North promotion last season, the first from the bench in an August Bank Holiday Monday two-two draw against...Bury Town, the second in a late April defeat against Great Wakering Rovers as the Yellows rested almost their entire first team squad prior to the Playoffs.
