Striker signs on for another promotion push

AFC Hornchurch

Striker Martin Tuohy will be spearheading AFC Hornchurch’s attack in the Ryman League’s top flight again next season after agreeing a new deal with manager Jimmy McFarlane.

The Urchins announced on Thursday that the 29-year-old former Aveley, Braintree and East Thurrock United forward, pictured, had committed to the coming campaign at the Hornchurch Stadium.

Tuohy was injured for long periods of last season and will be hoping to help McFarlane’s side win promotion next time around after the Urchins finishing fifth and lost out in the Ryman Premier’s play-off final to Lowestoft Town who went up with champions Wealdstone.
