Three for Regent

Brightlingsea Regent announced three new arrivals prior to Saturday's match- and gave two of them a debut from the bench, one of them getting an important goal.

Midfielder Nathan Sollosi came in from Buckhurst Hill, where he was rather prolific last season, scoring forty goals as his side narrowly failed to win promotion to our level. He was previously with Redbridge. Forward Suleyman Zuhdu was also part of that successful Buckhurst Hill side, and did even better in front of goal that his team mate, scoring forty one! Suleyman, who was previously with Grays Athletic, had a dream debut for Regent on Saturday, scoring the equaliser at Herne Bay after emerging from the bench.

Finn Steele comes in from Ipswich Town on loan, and will remain until January. Finn, a defender, has played Under 18 and Under 21 football with the Tractor Boys.
