Triple Bowers

By Ian Townsend

Daniel Thompson, Harrison Carnegie and Manny Oluwasemo are confirmed by Bowers

Bowers and Pitsea yesterday confirmed three new arrivals.

Daniel Thompson, a striker, was most recently with Chatham Town. He played for the Chats in two spells last season- initially on loan from Worthing. He scored four Chats goals last season, in fifteen appearances.

Daniel ended the 21-22 campaign at Whitehawk. He moved to the Enclosed Ground from Margate, where he made twenty one appearances, scoring seven goals.

Daniel spent the 2020-21 season- what there was of it- with East Grinstead Town. He made nine appearances, scoring two goals. He joined from Kingstonian, and will be familiar to Pitching In Isthmian League supporters not only from his time with the aforemention clubs, but because he's also played in our league for Hampton & Richmond Borough, Bognor Regis Town, Chipstead, Burgess Hill Town and Tonbridge Angels- and has also spent time at a higher level with Braintree Town and Dulwich Hamlet.

Harrison Carnegie signed on at Potters Bar Town in the summer. He moved to the Scholars after spending last season with Bowers, where he made twenty two appearances- scoring in that crazy match at Wingate & Finchley. He also played part of the last campaign at Faversham Town, playing six times.

He joined the Lilywhites from Whitstable Town, and has also turned out for Brightlingsea Regent, Sevenoaks Town, Sheppey United, Walthamstow and Whyteleafe, amongst others.

Manny Oluwasemo, a forward, will also be familiar with the Len Salmon faithful, as he spent time at the club last season- his twenty four games bringing three goals. He moved on to play nine times for Ashford United before the campaign came to an end, and started last season at Margate.

He was previously with Faversham Town, scoring twelve goals. He made forty six appearances during 21-22, three in what there was of 2020-21, and four more after joining the Lilywhites from Bearsted towards the end of the curtailed 2019-20 campaign.
