Tuesday's Ryman North action review

By David Watters

Harlow Town moved into seventh place in Ryman North table on Tuesday night, level on points with fifth-placed Tilbury after a narrow victory over Thamesmead Town, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The Hawks, many pundits` choice as promotion favourites, sealed victory over another fancied side, courtesy of Junior Dadson`s 68th minute strike.

Tuesday`s other game saw Brightlingsea Regent move up to eighth place, three points behind Harlow, after a comfortable 4-1 home win against bottom-markers Waltham Abbey.

Luke Read bagged a brace for Regent in the 13th and 26th minutes and Phil Kelly made it virtually game over with number three in the 43rd minute. Russell Malton added a fourth 12 minutes after the restart, with Jack Daveney netting a 79th minute consolation for the Abbotts.
