Tuesday's Ryman Premier action review

By David Watters

Bognor Regis Town hit Wingate & Finchley for six in the Ryman League's Premier Division on to ensure themselves of at least a play-off spot and boost their goal difference, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Jason Prior took his tally for the season to date to 42 with a hat-trick in the 29th, 53rd and 83rd minutes.

Alfie Rutherford bagged a brace with the opener after 10 minutes and then a second on 57 minutes before Stuart Green wrapped it up with a sixth five minutes from time.

Bognor are now two points behind second-placed East Thurrock United and six behind leaders Hampton & Richmond Borough with a game in hand over both.

Dulwich Hamlet moved back into the play-off places after a 2-1 win at a virtually doomed Brentwood Town, whose Premier Division place is alive only by the thinnest of goal difference margins.

A Martyn Stokes own goal gave Hamlet the boost of an early second minute lead that Ethan Pinnock added to three minutes after the break. Sam Cross replied on the hour-mark, but Town weren`t able to find a leveller.

Metropolitan Police won 3-0 at Earlsmead against Harrow Borough in the evening`s other game.

Leon Smith gave the Met a 25th minute lead that Will Salmon added to six minutes into the second half, with Ryan James adding a third eight minutes from time.
