Tuesday's Ryman South action review

By David Watters

Folkestone Invicta moved nine points clear at the top of the Ryman South table after earning a 1-0 win at Molesey on Tuesday night, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The home side were looking to gain a victory which would have taken them into the play-off places.

However, Ian Draycott, who bagged a brace in Invicta`s 2-0 win against Tooting & Mitcham United last Saturday, popped up with the match-winner with two minutes of the first half remaining.

Herne Bay moved into fourth place after a hard-fought 2-1 win at third-bottom Sittingbourne.

Bay had to come back from being a 39th minute Steven Ita goal down to win, courtesy of Danny Williams after 70 minutes and then Mark Lovell just three minutes later.

Tuesday`s other game saw Hythe Town beat South Park 3-0 at Reachfields.

Alfie May proved to be Hythe`s hero, netting all three in the 11th, 26th and 86th minutes.
