Twenty one today

Bracknell have the key to the Premier Division door- whilst in the Division above Haringey give Cray woe

Bracknell Town last night went twenty one points clear at the top of the Pitching In Isthmian South Central Division, defeated Guernsey by two goals to nil. With the sides below them having only eight matches left to play, only Chertsey Town and Uxbridge can still mathematically catch the Robins, and that seems about as likely as the UK following Ukraine's lead and electing a comedian as Prime Minister (fill in your own jokes here).

Last night's victory- their twenty sixth from twenty nine matches this season- was rather routine. Seb Bowerman put his side ahead from the spot after nine minutes- his twenty fifth goal of the season- and the win was sealed fourteen minutes from time when Dan Bayliss headed home number two.

In the Pitching In Isthmian Premier, Haringey Borough delivered a huge blow to Cray Wanderers hopes of climbing away from the danger zone. Wands took the lead after just three minutes, Jamie Yila opening the scoring with his eleventh of the campaign, but Borough drew level midway through the half through Andronicos Georgiou, and seven minutes later Michael O'Donoghue made it two-one to the visitors.

That was that, a result which sees Cray remain in nineteenth place, a point above Brightlingsea Regent having played two games more.
