Sutton United's youngsters have won the Ryman Youth League's Central Division title.

The youngsters at the Football Conference club and former Ryman League champions took the title with three games to spare on Tuesday night with a 5-2 win at Chipstead.

The Ryman Youth League is divided into four divisions - Ryman Central, Ryman East, Ryman West and Ryman South - and was set up to provide young players with a professional club experience within a structured league to prepare them for the step up into senior club football.

This season 37 clubs made up the league's four divisions with three more titles still up for grabs before play-offs to decide the Ryman Youth League's champions of champions, won last season by Bognor Regis Town.

As well as the U18s sides at many Ryman League clubs, the competition is also entered by teams representing the Football Conference, Evo-Stik League Southern, Combined Counties Football League, Sussex County Football League and the Southern Counties East Football League.
