Vita Risk Solutions Manager of the Month Awards: February 2022

Premier Division

It will come as no surprise to anyone that the side at the top of the league, who also won every match they played during the month, pick up our Vita Risk Solutions Manager of the Month Award. Worthing have had a superb February; indeed a February where they won every single league match and didn’t concede a single goal. Wingate & Finchley, Merstham, Kingstonian and finally Enfield Town were put to the sword, fifteen goals were scored, and their rearguard was never troubled.

Congratulations go to the boss of the Mackerel Men, Adam Hinshelwood.

North Division

We’ve been down this road before. Our road to Canvey Island is well-worn this season, as we seem to be heading there to hand them out with enormous regularity, and we’re off there again. It’s just as well we enjoy watching enormous cargo vessels and fabulous football, isn’t it? This one was close- the Gulls took ten points from twelve, and on this occasion picked up the prize on goal difference- but many congratulations to boss Brad Wellmen, who has seen his side once again take pole position in our Pitching In Isthmian North table, and picks up this prize courtesy of Vita-Risk Solutions.

South Central Division

We’re off to the end of the Heathrow runway! Bedfont Sports have once more cast aside all worries of having a jumbo jet land on their head as they’ve moved into the top five in the Pitching In Isthmian South Central Division. It has been another fabulous month in a fabulous campaign for boss Paul Johnson, who has seen his side record four victories, over Westfield, Binfield, Guernsey and South Park on their way to taking this award. Congratulations to Paul and his side.

South East Division

We were in Sussex last month, and we’re off back there this month, but on this occasion we’re off to the seaside, where we visit our Pitching In Isthmian South East title favourites Hastings United. Gary Elphick’s side won every match they played during February, defeating Hythe Town, Sittingbourne, Phoenix Sports and Chichester City; results which have seen them open up a nine point lead at the top. They’ve ben attractive to watch, too, bringing in an average of one thousand and sixty one people for each home match, more than four hundred per match higher than the side ins econd place in that particular table.
