Wednesday's Ryman South action review

By David Watters

Worthing missed the opportunity to claw back three points on runaway leaders Folkestone Invicta when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Walton Casuals in the Ryman South on Wednesday night, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Worthing had a good start at the appropriately-named Waterside Stadium when Lloyd Dawes put them in front after 10 minutes. But they weren`t able to add to that, and six minutes into the second half Quincy Rowe equalised with his first goal for Casuals.

And 10 minutes later Gabriel Odunaike gave the home side the lead. However, Harvey Sparks pulled the visitors back on level terms with 20 minutes to go, although the second-placed Rebels weren`t able to find a winner and could only reduce Invicta`s lead at the top of the table to a massive thirteen points.
