Winning Rangers

Soham pick their award winners

Soham Town Rangers are the latest club to announce who has picked up their end of season plaudits.

Their Player’s Player Of The Season was Josh Pope. Goalkeeper Josh- brother of England keeper Nick- made his Rangers debut in 2017-18 after previously playing for Histon and Mildenhall Town. He made thirty six appearances last season.

Manager’s Player Of The Season was Cameron Watson. Defender Cameron made thirty nine appearances last season, and also weighed in with five goals- and they only lost once when he scored! Watson stepped up two levels to join Rangers in the summer when he moved over from Haverhill Rovers, and it's fair to say that the move has proved a great success.

The First Team Sponsor’s Player Of The Season was Sam Mulready. Sam notched eighteen goals last season, and has been knocking them in for Rangers for a number of years now, getting twenty three the season before, nine from twelve appearances in 2017-18 and nine from seventeen appearances in 2016-17. Congratulations to the winners- see you all next season.
