Wonder strike still going global!

By David Watters

Guernsey FC's Josh Steel is warning fans to make the most of his wonder goal in Ryman South as he's not betting on bagging another one like it!

Steel's volleyed strike in their 5-1 win at Walton Casuals on Saturday 10 October went viral on the net within hours of hitting the back of the net and since then the chuffed midfielder has seen the latest viewing figures continue to skyrocket.

Steel told GuernseyFC.com: "It's always nice to have little bonuses like that from being involved. It's a good 15 minutes of fame.

"It was just nice to finally get off the mark more than anything. A goal like that probably won't happen for me again so I have to make the most of it."
