Yellows sign Stow attacker

By Ian Townsend

Sudbury's impressive squad building continues

A few days after capturing Stowmarket Town defender Ollie Brown, AFC Sudbury have gone back to Stow for a second time, and this time returned with forward Josh Mayhew in their pocket (it would need to be a very big pocket, he's six feet four).

Josh made thirty nine appearances for our fourth place side last season, and scored nine goals despite struggling with injuries. He previously played for the likes of Brightlingsea Regent- during 2015-16- and Bury Town, Leiston and Brantham Athletic, and has regularly been prolific. One season with Stow saw him score fifty six goals, and he managed a rather ridiculous one hundred and thirty six goals in one hundred and seventy three appearances with the club, so if he finds his shooting boots, Pitching In Isthmian North Division defences should beware!
