A Hastings duo

Sam Crutwell returns, Ansu Janneh arrives on loan

Hastings United have announced two new arrivals, one rather familiar to the Pilot Field faithful, another who will be new to the matching masses.

Sam Cruttwell has made more than two hundred and fifty appearances for United, the last three of them in the finished-almost-as-quickly-as-it-began 20-21 campaign, when he returned to the club after playing for SCEFL side Little Common. He once again returns to the club from Little Common, on a dual registration deal.

Ansu Janneh is a loanee from National League South side Tonbridge Angels. The midfielder has previous Pitching In Isthmian Premier experience with Wingate and Finchley, for whom he signed on loan from Dagenham and Redbridge in December 2022 and played six times, with one goal. He played seven times for Lancing during their first Isthmian season, and has also previously spent a little time at Pilot Field.

He joined Angels in October, moving to Kent from Havant and Waterlooville, and has also spent a little time at Braintree Town.
