A procession of returning Abbotts

Two announced by Waltham Abbey- with the promise of more to come

Waltham Abbey have announced two of last season's squad are returning to the club for the 2020-21 season- with the promise that more names will follow.

The first two players to sign on once more are Ryan Dear and Nathan Koranteng.

Defender Ryan made twenty seven appearances last season, and also weighed in with a couple of goals, in an FA Cup draw with Canvey Island and league defeat at Chipstead. He previously played for Cheshunt, Brimsdown and Enfield.

Nathan operates further up the pitch, and last season made thirty six appearances, scoring six times. The winger started his career at Peterborough United, and has also played for Woking, Boreham Wood, Tonbridge Angels, Aveley, Cheshunt, Harlow Town and East Thurrock United. He left the Hawks to join the Abbotts in February 2019, scoring three goals in twelve appearances during his first campaign with the club.
