A Swifts opening

On Tuesday night Heybridge Swifts opened their new 3G pitch- and we thought we'd take the opportunity to feature a few Alan Edmonds photographs!
Tuesday night was rather momentous for everyone at Heybridge Swifts. The football was rather unimportant for once, despite a friendly defeat against Brightlingsea Regent- what was instead important was the opening of their brand new 3G pitch, which is the result of a great deal of hard work and will benefit the whole community going forward.
Alan Edmonds has taken a whole series of excellent photographs, and you can find those from Tuesday night here, but we thought we'd feature a few.
