A trio of Moles

By Ian Townsend

Riley Robinson, Jaidyn Robinson and Glenn Gabriel are new at Binfield

We're catching up on the remaining transfers which were announced prior to last week's deadline day. There were quite a number, and with the amount of football we had over the Easter weekend we're a little behind!

Transfer Deadline Day saw three new arrivals at Binfield.

Glenn Gabriel came in on a dual registration deal from Pitching In Southern Premier side Hanwell Town. The winger has lots of stamps in his passport, as he started his career in Germany (following youth spells at Brentford and Stoke City), moved to Finland, and then played in Spain, before first heading to the UK and travelling west until he'd almost fallen off the end, spending time in magical Mousehole. Nearer to us he played for Hendon, then went to Cyprus to play for ENAD Polis Chrysochous, before a spell in Scotland with Peterhead.

He has been an Isthmian, too, spending part of the 21-22 season with Thatcham Town, making eighteen appearances.

Riley Robinson and Jaidyn Robinson are brothers. Midfielder Riley is a Bermudan full and Under 20 international, and he scored the winner for his country in a Concacaf Under-20 Championship qualifying match against Grenada at the end of February. In Bermuda he played for BAA Wanderers. Jaidyn, also a midfielder, has played for his country at Under 17 level. He comes in on a dual registration deal from Ulsport Hellenic Division One side Newent Town.
