Following the signing of Louis Theophanous, formerly of Kingstonian, Romford yesterday added another player to their squad, forcing Brentwood Town to build an extension to their dressing room. The new arrival is goalkeeper Jake Jessup, who arrives on loan from Chelmsford City.

Jake has been with Brightlingsea Regent recently, playing in three matches- victories over Corinthian-Casuals and Histon and a narrow defeat at Leatherhead. He also turned out for Cambridge City this season, but played only once.

He has previously turned out for Mildenhall Town and Lowestoft Town. He made two appearances for Chelmsford this season according to their website, winning in both.
