Bees boss departs

Basildon United have announced the departure of manager Marc Benterman.

In a statement released on social media, the Bees gave a very brief explanation:

'We regret to inform you that early this morning Basildon United parted company with Marc Benterman due to disciplinary issues. The club will be making no further comment on the news. We will now be looking to replace Marc asap & ask applicants to email a CV to basildonunitedfootballclub@gmail.com.'

The former Witham Town and Stansted boss joined the club in January. He departs with them in fourteenth place in Pitching In Isthmian League North.
