Brentwood dream big!

National League South in three years, says Chairman Jez

Brentwood Town yesterday confirmed that manager Adam Flanagan will be remaining in charge for the new season, whenever it arrives- but the big talking point in Chairman Jez Dickinson's latest statement, which you can find on the club website here, was something entirely different.

After confirming Adam's position, Jez explains:

'Our ambitions for the club align perfectly and we will be working closely with the aim of pushing this club up the league pyramid. National South Football is the realistic ambition in three years, so in effect two promotions in three years. That means the Club needs to have the mindset of a National South Club now.'

He adds:

'Nothing in life worth doing is easy and it certainly won’t be. There are a lot of very good sides in this league, but Brentwood Town will be unrecognizable both on and off the pitch from last year.'

It seems that Brentwood Town supporters have an awful lot to be excited about! And that Adam Flanagan is going to have an awful lot of work to do, given his side finished the previous campaign in seventeenth place in the North Division.
