Chats stopper debuts for Vale

Chatham keeper Ben Bridle-Card new at Raynes Park Vale

Raynes Park Vale gave a debut to Chatham Town keeper Ben Bridle-Card in their defeat at Badshot Lea.

Chatham signed Ben in September 2022, and he moves on loan to get involved in the Pitching In Isthmian South Central Play Off battle. He played a big part in the Chats promotion last season, playing thirty nine times as they took the South East title, and he has made another twenty seven appearances at our top level this season.

Ben had a fine campaign for Margate during 21-22, making twenty nine appearances, and it was an enormous surprise when he was announced as a late summer departure from Hartsdown Park. He joined the Blues from Sevenoaks Town, and was the recipient of our AB1 Goalkeeping Golden Gloves Award for his performances in February.

Ben started his career with Leyton Orient and also played for Maidstone United. At our level, prior to Oaks he spent time with Sittingbourne, Faversham Town, Whyteleafe and Greenwich Borough.

He joins Vale on loan.
