Cooney for Hastings

Hastings United have announced the signing of Leatherhead full back Tommy Cooney.

Tommy has put in a lot of miles this season. He started the campaign at Sevenoaks Town, where he made ten appearances, after moving from Margate, where he was announced as a new signing during the summer but doesn't seem to have played a competitive match.

He left Oaks for Hornchurch, but managed only one appearance for the Urchins, in their four-three defeat to East Thurrock United, after which he headed back to former club Leatherhead, and has since made ten appearances in green.

He had ten appearances for Bognor Regis Town last season, finishing on the winning side seven times- and previously played for Braintree Town, Hungerford Town, Hayes & Yeading United, Metropolitan Police and Whitehawk.
