Cup Final Wednesday!

It's Cup Final Wednesday, and Parkside Aveley will play host to the Isthmian Development League Champion of Champions Final, as Brentwood Town take on Hastings United. The Essex Blues took the Development North title by ten points, whilst United scored forty six goals- the most of any of our Development League clubs- to take the South title. The match kicks off at 7.30 PM.

Our next match of interest is rather a long way away from Parkside- indeed, it's in Portsmouth! Pitching In Isthmian South Central Champions Basingstoke Town have had a couple of weeks rest since confirming their title, so they won't have tired legs- which is perhaps just as well, as they take on Premier League side AFC Bournemouth in the Hampshire Senior Cup Final at Fratton Park. By the way, Sutton Common Rovers and South Park Reigate's Under 18 sides are also in action tonight at Whyteleafe. It's a Surrey County Cup Under 18 Semi-Final, with the prize a Final against Kingstonian Under 18's on Monday.
