Hythe bring in Gills midfielder

Hythe Town have announced the signing of former Gillingham midfielder Aaron Simpson.

Aaron won't be unknown to Isthmian audiences, as he made eleven appearances whilst on loan at Margate from the Gills in 2017-18; and he won't be unknown to the Reachfields faithful either, as he played fleetingly during pre-season. He has also been on trial at Aldershot.

His signing might be something of a coup for the Cannons, as Gills boss Steve Evans didn't want him to leave- and indeed offered him a new deal. Priestfield's loss might well be Reachfields gain.
