Keeper Josh Blunkell new at the Seaside

Josh Blunkell debuts for Felixstowe and Walton United

Felixstowe and Walton United had a new number one between the sticks as they drew against Brentwood Town on Saturday, Josh Blunkell making his debut.

Josh isn't new to the Pitching In Isthmian League, nor to the North Division, as we was with AFC Sudbury earlier in his career, making eleven appearances during 21-22, notably in the Yellows famous cup run, and added another five Cup and Trophy appearances last season- including in their win over St Albans City in the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round. He was snapped up by EFL side Wycombe Wanderers, and was on the bench for the first team without making a debut. He spent some time on loan at Bowers & Pitsea, making six appearances last season, and in the summer he moved on to join Braintree Town.

Since then he has spent some time on loan at Kettering Town.
