Mackerel Men will take tinned Mackerel as they collect for local foodbank

Worthing host foodbank collection as they face Lewes on Saturday


Worthing are due to host Lewes on Saturday- rather unusually this isn't a League match, rather the Sussex Senior Cup- and they are taking the opportunity to collect for the Worthing Food Foundation "to help deliver emergency food and supplies to those that need it most."The club's under sixteen side volunteered at the Food Bank earlier this week, and you can read about that here.

The club have asked supporters from across Sussex to donate what they can from the following list of items:

  • Tinned Meat
  • Tinned Meals
  • Tuna
  • Tinned Veg
  • Long-life Juice / Milk
  • Tinned Puddings
  • Pasta / Rice
  • Squash
  • Tea / Coffee
  • Biscuits
  • Jams / Spreads
  • Cereals
  • Tinned Tomatoes
  • Washing-up Liquid
  • Washing Powder
  • Razors
  • Shaving Foam
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Deodorant
  • Shower Gel
  • Hand Soap
  • Sanitary Towels / Tampons
  • Toilet Rolls
  • Toothpaste / Toothbrushes
  • Nappies
  • Baby Wipes
  • Pet Food
