David Manu heads Gander Green way

Sutton Common Rovers yesterday announced the signing of forward David Manu.

David has no shortage of Pitching In Isthmian experience. He has turned out for Romford, Cheshunt and Wingate & Finchley, but his last Isthmian role was at Bishop's Stortford, where he made ten appearances during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring one goal- the opener in a win at Margate.

He moves across from Biggleswade Town of the Pitching In Southern Premier Central Division.

In addition to his time with us, he has also played for a number of other current Isthmian clubs when they weren't amongst our ranks. Amongst his alumni are Aylesbury United, Beaconsfield Town, Welwyn Garden City, Bedford Town, Uxbridge, Hanwell Town, Kings Langley, AFC Hayes, North Greenford United and Hertford Town.

He may make his Rovers debut tomorrow, as they welcome high-flying Hanwell Town.
