Monday's Ryman North action review

By David Watters

There may have been little to play for between Aveley and Soham Town Rangers apart from pride and final placings in Monday's Ryman North clash but it was an entertaining affair in which the Millers triumphed 3-1, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The hosts couldn`t have asked for a much better start at Mill Field, going ahead inside the opening minute when a clearance fell to Jack Edwards and he found the bottom corner of the net.

The Millers doubled their advantage after 33 minutes with another fine finish, this time from Abs Seymour after good work from Arian Retkoceri. But within a minute, Soham were back in the game when a neat ball through fell nicely for Salim Relizani to fire past James Marrable.

What proved to be the crucial third goal arrived on 74 minutes when an Andres Tobon corner was powered in by centre-back Perry Dunn - his third goal in four matches.
