My First XI: John Edwards

By Ian Townsend

We asked our supporters to pick- and explain- their Team of the campaign from amongst the players they’ve watched this season. John, an Ashford United fan, picks a Pitching In Isthmian South East XI

GK- Aidan Prall- Sheppey United. Excellent when I have seen him and been a key part in them being in the race for the play offs. Made some superb saves,

RB- Ike Orji- Chatham Town- Got a move to Gillingham and that shows the quality that he has. Up and down and excellent delivery. Going to go a long way

CB- Joe Ellul- Sittingbourne- Made a huge difference to them since coming in and key driver in the end of season form.

CB- Darren Phillips- Faversham Town- Despite being relegated watched him in a few games when groundhopping and he was immense.

LB- Frankie Morgan- Sheppey United- Brilliant left foot and very strong going forward

RM- Ethan Pritchard - Chichester City- Not sure on the RM but created a lot of chances for Chichester and was very good when I watched him

CM- Brandon Davey- Corinthian- So much energy in a hard working Corinthian side that went down. They was a young team but gave us a great game and I thought he was everywhere when they played us.

CM- Jack Evans- Chatham Town- Goals, Assists, creativity and some important penalties in the run in to the title.

LM- Ade Adeyemo- Cray Valley PM- Ridiculous talent, he is going to the very top. Scored some screamers but has such pace and skill. Best player I watched all season.

ST- Gary Lockyer- Ashford Utd- Immense for us and a proper striker, without his goals we would be a lot lower in the table.

ST - Dan Perry- Burgess Hill Town- Top scorer in a struggling team. He showed his value in his side staying up and had a ridiculous goal record.

Bench- If I am allowed!

Donvieve Jones- Sittingbourne- Crazy goals from RB
Rowan Liburd- Ramsgate- Top striker at this level
Alie Secka- Lancing- Top keeper just played in the National league play offs I believe
Tijan Jadama- Ramsgate- Top midfielder, going to rise up the levels
