Winger Ashley Nzala joins the promotion-chasing Chats

Chatham Town have announced the arrival of Ashley Nzala, and gave him a debut from the bench in victory over VCD Athletic on Saturday.

Ashley has recently spent time at Canvey Island, making eleven appearances and scoring once. He also spent a little time at Margate this season, playing twice and scoring once- both spells on a dual registration from Dulwich Hamlet.

Ashley was magnificent for the Brentwood Town last season, coming in from his position on the wing to score fourteen goals as Town charged into the top five. He also appeared for Great Wakering Rovers and Cheshunt last season, and previously played for Hanwell Town, Burgess Hill Town and Southall.
