Faversham Town bring back goalkeeper Simon

Faversham Town have announced the return to the club of goalkeeper Simon Overland.

A youth player with Millwall, Simon has played for a large number of clubs, some of them on loan during his time at the Den. Amongst his former sides are Kettering Town, Dagenham & Redbridge, Gravesend & Northfleet, Maldon & Tiptree, Dulwich Hamlet, Harlow Town, Grays Athletic, Sevenoaks Town, Margate, Sittingbourne and Herne Bay.

Co-Manager John Embury told the club website:

"Simon brings us bags of experience at this level and will be a tremendous help to the young lads in the squad. As soon as I knew Luke (Watkins) would be out for most of the season due to injury, I was straight on the phone to the big man."
