Saturday's Ryman South action review

While Worthing`s game was called off, an exciting encounter at the Shepherd Neame Stadium in front of 404 saw Ashley Miller give the leaders a 27th minute lead.

Renford Tenyue equalised just three minutes later, only for Miller to restore Invicta`s lead four minutes after that. A fourth goal in 10 minutes saw Liam King pull Faversham back on level terms and, despite chances at both ends, that was how the scoreline remained.

Second-placed Dorking Wanderers were also held to a 2-2 draw at Molesey, so are now two points in front of Worthing.

Tom Tolfrey gave the visitors a 27th minute lead that Reis Stanislaus cancelled out five minutes before the break. A minute before the half-time whistle, Tolfrey restored Wanderers` lead, only for Stafforde Palmer to level with 13 minutes to go.

Ramsgate moved emphatically into fourth place after a 8-1 demolition of second-bottom Peacehaven & Telscombe.

Ian Pulman, new signing Wayne Wilson and Joe Taylor had the Rams 3-1 up at the break – the visitors replying with their only shot on target through Jerry Amoo in the 18th minute.

Wilson went on to net a hat-trick, Taylor added his second and there were singles for Luke Girt and Jake Mackenzie.

Sixth-placed Herne Bay went down 1-0 at Winch`s Field to Corinthian-Casuals, whose Shaun Okojie`s 80th minute effort saw them move level on points with Bay in seventh.

Hastings United are also in contention following a 2-0 Pilot Field win over Tooting & Mitcham United.

A crowd of 374 saw Tyrell Richardson-Brown after 58 minutes and Zac Attwood 20 minutes from time seal Hastings` win.

Hythe Town and Guernsey FC are also well in the race for a top five spot, although the Channel Islanders' indifferent away form struck again as they were beaten 4-1 by third-bottom Chipstead.

However, the dismissal of Angus Mackay shortly before half-time with his side trailing to David Graves` early fifth minute effort, proved costly.

Dan Summers increased Chipstead`s lead three minutes after the break and seven minutes later Derek Tieku added a third. Summers a fourth 10 minutes after that, rendering Glyn Dyer`s 74th minute reply as only a consolation for the visitors.

Hythe though won 2-0 at the Reachfields Stadium against struggling East Grinstead Town with a Frankie Sawyer penalty just before the break and Alfie May on the hour-mark completing the victory.

Elsewhere, Walton & Hersham`s survival hopes took a hammering at Chatham Town.

The Swans were beaten 4-0 with goals from George Humber after seven minutes, Ricky Gundry three minutes later, Humber again five minutes before the break and then Gundry with his second four minutes into the second period.

Three Bridges sealed a 2-1 win at Woodstock Park against Sittingbourne in the day`s other game.

Jordan Wells gave Bourne an early fourth minute lead that Tony Garrod cancelled out seven minutes later, with Ben Godfrey`s goal right on half-time sealing the victory.
