Stoke give themselves a cushion- whilst Marlow take one point when three looked likely

By Ian Townsend

Elsewhere, Bracknell Town continue to do Bracknell Town things as they close on one hundred points

Basingstoke Town opened up a four point gap on Hanwell Town and Uxbridge in the play off race with victory at Westfield. A goal in each half, Ben Cook with the first and Conor Lynch the second, were enough as they eased to victory. Image courtesy of the club.

For much of their match at Binfield it looked as if Marlow would go level on points with the Red Army and the Geordies. Khalid Simmo gave the visitors the lead five minutes before the break, and it was a lead they held until seven minutes from time, Liam Gavin equalising for the Moles and delivering a big shock to Marlow's promotion hopes.

Bracknell Town travelled to Bedfont Sports to face Staines Town, and were three up before the break, before easing off in the second half. Aaron McLeish-White opened the scoring on eight minutes, Seb Bowerman added his traditional goal midway through the half, and Andrew Ofosu scored the third, six minutes before the break. If the Robins can defeat Westfield and Bedfont Sports in their last two matches they'll finish the campaign on three figures- that magical one hundred point target.
