Hastings United had a busy Saturday, announcing three new arrivals.
Dom Vose, a midfielder, has no shortage of experience. He was part of the youth setup at West Ham United early on in his career, before spending time with Braintree Town, Tooting & Mitcham United and Barnet.
He jumped back into the Football League with Colchester United, after which he played for Wrexham in the National League, Scunthorpe United and Grimsby Town. Whitehawk, Bromley and Chester came calling, before he joined Dulwich Hamlet soon after their promotion from the Isthmian League. He was at Champion Hill for two seasons. He then went on to play for Kingstonian and Margate, and has spent time in Iceland and Gibraltar.
Bailey Akehurst, a left back, arrives from Gillingham. He spent some time with Cray Wanderers and with Hastings in our Premier Division last season, making six Wands appearances and only one for United, the latter due to injury. He also had loan spells with Cheshunt and Tonbridge Angels in National League South.
Tyler Christian-Law spent time elsewhere in Sussex, with Horsham, last season. The midfielder joined the Hornets from Potters Bar Town, where he made nineteen appearances during the 21-22 season, and another eighteen last season. He left Horsham to end the campaign with Faversham Town.
He has a considerable list of previous clubs, some at a higher level, some in Step Four. They include Coggeshall Town, Witham Town, Wealdstone, Braintree Town, Hanwell Town, Wingate & Finchley and Margate.
