Three Chips

By Ian Townsend

Chipstead strengthen, with the arrivals of Alfie Young, Khalid Babikir and Reuben Ashun

Pitching In Isthmian South Central Chipstead yesterday did a little squad strengthening, with three new arrivals.

Alfie Young has been with Croydon Athletic, where he was named Players Player of the Season and Supporters Player of the Season for the 22-23 campaign. The full back won the Players Player Award for the second season in a row.

Khalid Babikir, also a defender, moves up from Fleet Town. Khalid also spent time with Croydon Athletic in the past, and indeed was once a Chip, at Under 18 level.

Finally Reuben Ashun hasn't really moved anywhere but up, as he has been part of the Chips Under 18 side.
