Two for Bury Town

A duo arrive at Ram Meadow

Bury Town yesterday announced the arrival of Lewis O'Malley from local rivals AFC Sudbury, and Max Sherlock from Stanway Rovers.

Lewis is a centre back who can also play in midfield, and he was part of the Cambridge United Academy before becoming a yellow. He made fourty six appearances last season, also weighing in with five goals, and was a big part of his side's progression through the qualifying rounds of the FA Cup and a First Round appearance against Colchester United, scoring against National League South promotion chasers Dartford in the Fourth Qualifying Round.

Max is a midfielder, still only eighteen years old, and highly rated. He came through the Under 18 and Under 23 sides to graduate to the first team, and caught the eye with some excellent displays last season.
