Two Mead stars find new homes

Horsham and Ashford United the beneficiaries


The Hornets and the Nuts and Bolts yesterday announced that they'd signed players who had, until recently, turned out for sadly departed Thamesmead Town.

Horsham have picked up midfielder Nassim Dukali, who signed for Thamesmead only last month from Lewes, for whom he'd signed in May after leaving Greenwich Borough, who he joined after leaving Herne Bay. Are you keeping up? He managed four goals in six matches for Mead, and is joining a Horsham team on the up. Read more on that move here.

Ashford United, meanwhile, have picked up striker Danny Parish. Danny had managed only three appearances this season, but fired an impressive 21 goals in the last campaign. Read more here.
