Joshua Rusoke and Lawrence Ajong make Potters Bar debuts

Potters Bar Town gave a debut to defender Joshua Rusoke in last night's draw against Bishop's Stortford Town. Joshua played for seventy two minutes before being replaced by another debutant, Lawrence Ajong.

Joshua came to our notice at Basildon United, where he played five times during the defunct 2020-21 campaign. He played another eleven times for the Bees before stepping up to Bowers & Pitsea, where he made twenty seven appearances in the Pitching In Isthmian Premier and Essex County Cup, many of them a little further forward. He spent a little time with Aveley this season, but doesn't seem to have ever escaped the bench, so he moved on to Brightlingsea Regent, where he has featured eleven times- including one match against Aveley and two against Bowers.

Lawrence Ajong, by the way, was with Baldock Town last season, but has also played for one of our former sides, Ware, where he graduated from the Under 18's to the first team. He was an important part of the Middlesex Under 18 side.

He has also played for Royston Town, Hadley and St Margaretsbury.

Other debutants last night- although we have written about their arrivals previously- were Owen Cochrane, Joe Russell and Wranyel Hercules.
