Watson for the Nuts and Bolts

Kevin Watson takes the reins at Ashford United

Ashford United this week announced the appointment of former Herne Bay and Cray Valley PM boss Kevin Watson as their new manager, replacing Tommy Warrilow, who departed at the end of the campaign.

Watson took over at Bay in November, but despite an improvement in form was unable to save them from Pitching In Isthmian Premier relegation. Prior to his time on the coast he was with Cray Valley PM, and steered the club to unprecedented heights- including an FA Vase Final, promotion to our ranks as SCEFL champions, an FA Cup run which took them to the First Round (and included a win at National League side Maidenhead United), and a Play Off Semi-Final. He left them in fifth place in Pitching In Isthmian South East.
