Wednesday Night football

By Ian Townsend

The FA Trophy begins for Sevenoaks Town, Sittingbourne and South Park -and despite our image, Merstham aren't playing!

The FA Trophy continues this evening and three of our sides are in action- albeit two of them playing each other!

Hadley, bottom of Pitching In Southern Division One Central, play host to Sevenoaks Town. Oaks have lost two of their last three- but the victory in between those two defeats was a notable one, as they knocked Kingstonian out of the FA Cup.

At Moatside- home of Merstham- South Park Reigate face the challenge of Sittingbourne. The Sparks have won three of their last four matches and sit in fifth place in Pitching In Isthmian South Central, whilst the travelling Brickies (please don't head to Reigate by mistake!) travel with two consecutive victories behind them. The two sides haven't met since October 2019, when a goal from Johan Caney-Bryan gave the Brickies victory in the FA trophy at Woodstock Park. The last nine matches between the two have seen four wins each and one draw, the Brickies winning the last two.

Both matches kick off at 7.45 PM.
