Reece Meekums is new at Horsham

Horsham had a new name in their ranks prior to Saturday's FA Cup tie against Hanworth Villa, Worthing winger Reece Meekums arriving on a dual-registration deal.

Reece came through the ranks at Brighton & Hove Albion, playing both Under 18 and Under 23 football for the Seagulls as well as spending some time on loan at Worthing. he made thirty eight appearances, scoring seven goals, during the 2017-18 season. His time at Albion came to an end and he moved on to Bromley, but was soon back on loan at Woodside Road.

When his Bromley period came to an end he returned to the Mackerel Men, and has been a big success in the intervening years. He was one of the stars of their Isthmian Premier title winning season, contributing eleven goals as his side romped to promotion, and went on to be a success in National League South, making forty three appearances- with six goals- as they qualified for the Play Offs at their first attempt. He has made seven appearances this season- scoring twice.
